  Nightingale Housing have not only provided a family home for us to raise our young family but successfully found ways to work with the local community to build the amenity and infrastructure needed to support and enrich our life.

  Recently went on a Nightingale Housing tour at Nightingale One. It was a fantastic tour where we got to walk through a current residents two bedroom apartment. It was a great way to see and get a sense of the size and feel for an apartment as well as see the communal areas like the washing facilities, veggie garden and rooftop garden. The tour guide Maria was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. It's a really great concept, I love the sustainability factors and the layout of the building in general. Would be intrigued to see more from Nightingale Housing and what they design in the future.

  I moved to Victoria so I could benefit from organisations like Nightingale Housing. They offer the best value, most environmentally responsible and community focused housing that I’ve come across. I’ve found all the staff I’ve met to be respectful and generous with their time and knowledge. I’ve been impressed with their efforts to deliver public space back to local residents and visitors, as well as their support for innovative local businesses like the home.one cafe.

  Nightingale Housing initiatives are nothing short of visionary for this country and abroad. Multi-residential housing particularly in this country is seen as a solely profit driven commodity over a 'place to call home'.
  
  My wife and I moved into our Nightingale 1 Apartment Dec 2017 after living in a series of extremely poorly designed, poor amenity and soulless, developer driven apartments which are destroying the very fabric of many of Melbourne`s inner city urban landscapes - none more so than Brunswick.
  
  Living in our well-designed, highly-considered and resident focused Nightingale 1 apartment has not only increased our quality of life on a number of personal levels but it has also founded friendships and a provided a sense of community far beyond any expectations.
  
  Nightingale 1 has also provided a wonderful place for a children to be born! [[our now 1 year old Son was born on our kitchen floor - [his choice not ours but never-the-less]], thrive and call home. Our children have also made potential life long friendships with other children within the building and local community.
  
  The process of buying and throughout the construction of our Nightingale 1 Apartment was extremely refreshing and of important note. The entire duration of the build was an open-book policy in terms of full resident disclosure of project finances and where savings could be made - these
  sums were spent on improvements to community infrastructure throughout the building such as our amazing rooftop garden. Good luck trying to find a developer in the country who would do this....And No - there were no agendas just good people trying to build good houses for the people who live in them.
  
  Nightingale Housing`s visionary founders - Jeremy McCloud and Tamara Veltre [along with their team] - work tirelessly and selflessly to provide well designed, environmentally and socially sustainable apartments at an affordable cost.
  They have gone far & beyond to successfully find ways to work with the local community to build the amenity & infrastructure needed to support and enrich our lives as residents and for future generations to come.
